Fuel factor rates on Providenciales, North Caicos, Middle Caicos, Grand Turk, and Salt Cay continue to reflect decreases. The fuel factor rate on June's electricity bill has decreased by 6.31% from the prior month's $0.2120 to $0.1986 per kilowatt hour ("kWh") for Providenciales, North Caicos, and Middle Caicos customers.
Grand Turk and Salt Cay customers' fuel factor rate has decreased by 5% from the prior month's $0.2118 to $ 0.2019 per kWh in June.
This month's fuel factor rate for South Caicos will become available soon. It is worth noting that the fuel factor rate for last month in South Caicos decreased by 5% from the prior month's $0.2214 to $0.2109 per kWh.
While this downward trend in the fuel factor rate is positive, your energy consumption also affects your electricity bill. Customers are therefore encouraged to manage their consumption and conserve energy, especially during the hotter summer months.
