Fuel Factor Rates Decrease up to 9%: September 2023

Dear Valued Customer, 

Since the beginning of the year, fuel factor rates on electricity bills have declined by nearly 40% across most service territories. This month's rates will reflect another decrease of up to 9%.

For September, the fuel factor rate for Providenciales, North Caicos, and Middle Caicos customers has decreased by 4.82% from the prior month's $0.1658 to $0.1578 per kilowatt hour ("kWh").

Grand Turk and Salt Cay customers' fuel factor rates reflect a 9% decrease from the prior month's $0.1722 to $0.1575 per kWh.

This month's fuel factor rate for South Caicos will become available soon. It is worth noting that South Caicos fuel factor rate for last month (August) decreased by 4% from the prior month's $0.1781 to $0.1703 per kWh.

We will keep you informed of the latest monthly fuel factor rate trends. Remember, your electricity bill is also influenced by how much energy you consume in kilowatt hours during the billing period.
