Fuel factor rates on December electricity bills have decreased by up to 7.7% across some service territories. The fuel factor rate on electricity bills rises and falls with market fuel prices.
For December, the fuel factor rate for Providenciales, North Caicos, and Middle Caicos customers will decrease by 7.7% from the prior month's $0.1711 to $0.1580 per kilowatt hour ("kWh").
Grand Turk and Salt Cay customers' fuel factor rate will reflect a 6% decrease from the prior month's $0.1676 to $0.1583 per kWh.
This month's fuel factor rate for South Caicos will become available soon. South Caicos fuel factor rate for last month (November) decreased by 5% from the prior month’s $0.1784 to $0.1702 per kWh.
