Fuel factor rates on September electricity bills have increased by up to 5.2% across some service territories. The fuel factor rate on electricity bills rises and falls with market fuel prices.
For September, the fuel factor rate for Providenciales, North Caicos, and Middle Caicos customers will increase by 5.2% from the prior month's $0.1634 to $0.1718 per kilowatt hour ("kWh").
Grand Turk and Salt Cay customers' fuel factor rate will reflect a 1% decrease from the prior month's $0.1636 to $0.1627 per kWh.
This month's fuel factor rate for South Caicos will become available soon. South Caicos fuel factor rate for last month (August) increased by 1% from the prior month’s $0.1768 to $0.1788 per kWh.
