Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands (March 31, 2008) - Over the holiday season, PPC Ltd launched its first community project. One lucky member of the community, Mrs. Geneva Williams was blessed with a special gift from the management and staff of PPC Ltd. Mrs. Williams, an elderly customer who resides in Blue Hills with her husband, received a home makeover which included major repairs to the roof of her house, upgraded electrical wiring, ceiling replacement, complete renovation of several rooms, installation of new lights fixtures and the grading of the front yard. Other gifts included a food basket, toiletries, linens, a Christmas tree and decorations. The wheelchair bound winner was camera shy but jovial. She was very surprised and grateful for the much needed PPC makeover "God put my name in PPC's hands," she noted. Tearfully, Mrs. Williams thanked the PPC staff for their generosity. A person of strong faith, she encouraged the group to read Psalm 27 which is a well-known biblical proclamation of confidence and trust in miracles."
"This is the first step towards PPC's goal to develop a lasting relationship with the community it serves," says Mr. Allan Robinson VP of Corporate & Customer Service. Mr. Robinson further states that "PPC Ltd will be implementing other community projects throughout the year to assist those most in need. These projects also allow our staff to participate in the company's initiatives. Mrs. Williams was our first recipient."
