Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, July 21st, 2008 - Ruth Gardiner takes over as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of PPC Ltd., a position that was held by Robert Hamill for the last 10 years. Ms. Gardiner, who is from North Caicos, is delighted about her promotion. She thanked the shareholders and staff for placing their confidence in her. "The PPC environment allows us to thrive and reach for excellence and I look forward to this next stage in the company's development." Ms. Gardiner has steadily risen through the ranks of the Finance Department of PPC Ltd. to her current senior position.
Ms. Gardiner joined the Finance Department in October 2006 and was promoted to Manager of Financial Services the following year. Ms. Gardiner holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Barry University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Complimenting Ms. Gardiner's educational qualifications is her years of work experience in the finance and accounting sector as Senior Auditor at the accounting firm PriceWaterhouseCooper and as a Senior Accounting Clerk with Scotiabank. In addition to her professional contributions, Miss Gardiner is also the Deputy Chairman of the National Insurance Board (NIB) and Youth Director at her church.
Chief Executive Officer of PPC Ltd. Mr. Eddington Powell joined well- wishers in congratulating Ms. Gardiner on her promotion.
